Cusco presents: Throttle upgrades for the Toyota 86 / Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ.
These components are a direct bolt-on plug and play for the 2.0 liter FA20 4U-GSE powerplant, and is essentially designed to improve the air intake efficiency as well as acceleration response. An overbored throttle body results in an increased volumetric air intake efficiency which transcends to more torque and power output.
The Electronic Throttle Controller comes with three sport modes with each level of preprogrammed throttle position maps serving a different throttle reaction time. The ECO mode is used to smooth out the inconsistencies of throttle play and prevents unnecessary fuel usage due to human error.
Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ +2mm overbored throttle body, results in great throttle response and slightly increased power & torque.
